Sunrise in FLA

We had an incredible time with family and friends in Siesta Key over fall break. (But we missed Kara and Matthews!) Weather was beautiful and not too humid for ole preggo. Here are some of our favorite pics from the trip:

Holding Baby on the Beach

26 weeks...nearing the end of second trimester!

Baby and Bubble Toes
Mommy and Daddy-to-be!

Our family of three at sunset...I can't believe we will be holding him in a few more months!
One of our favorite memories from the trip is when Jake and Drew discovered "angry birds" on my Dad's iPad. Check out the intensity! I believe Phipps is getting in on the action too.

The whole trip, I kept thinking how this is my "last" (fill in the blank) without my baby here. The idea of him right now is like the minutes in the morning just before dawn...where it is still dark but the pinks and oranges of the sunshine are beginning to hint highlights on the earth. He is my sunshine...and I feel like dawn is about to break. It's as if God is creating something as beautiful and bright as His sunrise.

Active Robinsons

Tomorrow we hit 25 weeks! I can't believe how quickly this pregnancy is moving along. Baby Robinson will be here before we know it! I know its going to fly because so much is going on for the Robinson family between now and then.

We have all been pretty busy. Work has picked up for me...I am absolutely loving Real Estate. It has given me the opportunity to explore a new career path that I am learning more about every day. It is a bonus that I get to work with such incredible people too...including my dad.

Ryan has been busy with Army and work annnd driving.... He served his two weeks a year in September where he went down to Camp Atterbury every day. As soon as his two weeks were through, his regular job moved him to a site up in Muncie. I only cried 27 times when I found out he was going to be an hour and half away from me every day. Luckily, the project will only last until December. However, he is racking up the mileage. Hopefully he is back in Indy before the Little One gets here.

I have also been very busy "preparing" our home. It may be "nesting" but it also may be my overexposure to homes and decor on an every day basis. Or perhaps a combination of both. If you haven't seen our house in the last couple months, you wouldn't recognize it. It feels so much like home. I love it! (and my seasonal decorations don't hurt the cause). As soon as the final stages are through, I'll post some pictures.

Speaking of pictures, here are some of the latest at 24 weeks and 3 days:

I feel like the baby has grown so much in only a few weeks! It's such a great feeling and sometimes startling to the point where I jump and scare others when he starts kicking me. He is a very active little boy. At my 24 week appointment, the doctor told me he was measuring great. Then we tried to listen to his heart beat with the doppler. I would hear it for a few seconds and then I would hear static. She told me that was him moving around. He was crazy while we were trying to listen to his heart. She did say that so much activity was a sign of a healthy baby.

I know the little guy is going to be getting all the attention here in a few months, so to finish off the post, I thought I would share the love and show off my other Robinson loves. The first is of Ryan in action on the basketball court (imagine a Robinson playing basketball?)...he was successful in his dunk, but not without hurting himself...typical. The second video is of our little Lola who has also been preparing for the baby by getting as much sleep as possible...I literally have to coerce her out of bed in the morning so I can go to work.  I know most of you usually see her as a wild child but I wanted to show proof that she can be a sweet and calm little thing sometimes too.

So tomorrow we are officially 25 weeks pregnant. On Tuesday we leave for our last big trip before we are a family of three. We are headed to home away from in Siesta Key, Florida. It will be the Vargas, Robinson (and our son Phipps) and the Davis families. We will be sure to come back with lots of pictures and stories!
