May Day

With the baby boy turning four months old, some of my upcoming anxieties have come along with it. Wedding season has arrived. I feel so honored and blessed to be a part of three of my best friends' weddings this summer and fall. I am thrilled to be planning bachelorette, bridal and other wedding festivities for some of my most treasured people. But along with the planning, comes leaving my sweet baby. Not only is this difficult for me's tough physically too. Let me explain:

Last week, we were able to celebrate my baby sister's last single night out in Bloomington. It was such a joy to see her live it up with friends and family!

However, I spent about every three hours trying to find an outlet so that I could pump since I am still nursing. While I would love to have my body back, I'm not ready to give up nursing. I know that it is the best thing for Briggs. While we will be introducing food to him in the near future, it is my goal to at least supplement him with my milk until he is a year old. With that being said, it is becoming more and more difficult with traveling and working full time.

So I am more determined than ever. This week, we will be traveling to Florida for Briggs's FIRST trip. I plan to not pump so I can take a little break and just feed him exclusively. I can't wait to have him by my side every second for a whole week. If I could keep him in the moby wrap for 24/7, I would. But at least going on vacation and not having to leave him for a week will suffice.

Here are the latest pictures of our love bug.

16 Weeks Photos

At 16 Weeks, our little guys is getting such a personality! It brightens my day every morning when I wake up and see his smiling face. He is laughing so hard, he screams. He is so dramatic...I don't know where he gets that from. :)

Thursday, our good friend Ally Dant came to take his 3 month pictures. He is 16 weeks but won't officially turn 4 months until May 20. We are IN LOVE with these pictures. Briggs was fascinated by the clicking of the camera...he was quite the poser. I'm so thankful we were able to capture such precious memories. We will treasure these always! I hope you enjoy!

Love Bug's First Swim!

In the month of May, Grandma's pool was spotted with a new little love bug. He was pretty cute so she didn't make him we think he liked it!

I can't believe he's already 3 months old!

No Judging

Please don't judge me but...

I'm beginning to like the smell of spit-up. When I'm at work and I can smell a hint of my baby...why would I be mad?

Am I crazy?

Don't answer that.
