Our May 2016

May was such a fun month for us. It came in like a lion (we were wearing hats and winter clothes for a quick minute) and out like a lamb...meaning summer has begun! We welcomed a new family member, our cousin Braxton! And kept super busy with t-ball and soccer for both little bees.

We loved our Saturdays with Daddy!

Frisbee park date with friends.

Mother's Day artwork, parks, snuggle parties, zoo days and more!

Big brother helping out sis at soccer.

We always have to take a picture with the rhinos <3

Oh its SO good to be able to play outside again!

During Memorial Weekend, we had a much-needed garage sale. Here, the kids are modeling some of our "hot items"

I told the kids if they helped with the lemonade and cookie stand they could keep it for their piggy banks....they made a better profit then mommy and daddy did!

And some more pics to wrap up our May. Summer has officially started! I can't wait for the adventures we will take in the next few months! I love how these little babes help us enjoy every ounce of this precious life.

Here's to a fantastic summer!

Our April 2016

April Showers came in full force this month- along with bitter bitter coldness. Boo. But we kept busy with both kids in soccer, a Cali trip and Briggs getting to play t-ball for the first time!

Kerigan at her soccer debut. She picked out all things purple for her outfit because that's important in soccer.

Despite wearing winter gear in April- we stayed warm with Yaya and Papa snuggles & kisses.

Mom and Dad made it out with friends!

Briggs and his two grandpas at preschool's Grandparents Day.

When the weather finally warmed up toward the end of the month, we put those babies to work ;-)

Everyone loves a visit from their Uncle Lancey <3

This boy is all about writing his alphabet these days.

I think he approves of t-ball :)

Little Miss Domestic

And finally at the end of the month, we could play outside with real spring jackets! Yay warmer weather. Here's to May and all the new adventures it will bring!

Robinsons in SoCal

Back in September, Ryan and I were supposed to go on an anniversary trip to my homeland, Mexico. ;-) But then our little Bug Man got really sick and we postponed our trip. Briggs got better and our traveling desire increased. So when we were deciding where to go as our make-up vacay, my Mama heart couldn't bear the thought of leaving my babies for 10 days.  So we decided to make our anni trip a family trip. We wanted someplace new to explore. And Southern California seemed like the perfect getaway. And we were right!

We traveled to LA area for several days. We explored new beaches, new towns, watched some surfing and of course...visited our favorite buddy, Mickey.

Breakfast with Mickey. Briggy got everyone's autograph and several hugs from each of his faves.

Our happy place!

Everyone's first trip to Disneyland!

After a few days we traveled south to San Diego. We stayed on Coronado but traveled into the city almost every day too! The kids were fascinated with the naval base. I don't think they've ever seen such big ships before.

But their favorite part of the days were spent on the beach!

Don't forget baby!

Or the pool...

With her floaties on, Kerigan became Miss Independent.

Briggs livin' the life.

When in San Diego, you have to visit the zoo! Especially with our animal lovers.

#giraffeselfie

Kerigan LOVES alligators. This was her favorite exhibit.

This trip was such a blessing. We needed some family time. I love making these precious memories with our sweet babes. Here is a video to recap the whole trip. Briggs has only watched it a few times so far. :-)

Our March 2016

We've had an awesome March! We've seen glimpses of spring weather, we've been prepping for upcoming sports, packing for an April vacation, loving school, our church friends and best of all, had an amazing Easter.

Picking up her Papa and Yaya from the airport.

Papa suprised her at school!

Briggs pretending to be his Aunt Gaga who is due with my first nephew in May :-)

The happenings this month:

  • Easter! The kids love celebrating and have been asking the sweetest questions about Jesus.
  • They are so in to youtube educational videos right now. Everything from animated nursery rhymes to alphabet rock n roll. They'll dance in their pajamas all day.
  • Kerigan's language still has to be translated but her love for "BB" is understood by all. She loves her big brother with all her might. Sometimes too hard...haha.
  • Briggs has a make believe friend named "Joobee" It's hilarious. He has a whole life story made up about him.
  • We're braving the cold to get outdoors...practicing for soccer, finally visiting the zoo and venturing out to local parks. We missed the sunshine.
Here is our video this month. Enjoy!

Cincinnati Spring Break

It's the kids' Spring Break week so we planned a last-minute mini vacay to Cincinnati. They have a great zoo...what more could our babies want? We would have loved a little warmer weather...but we got sunshine!

Here's a short little vid of our Cincinnati Spring Break trip:

Easter 2016

We had a beautiful Easter! Spring is in the air and more importantly, Jesus is in our hearts. The kids have been asking a lot about the real meaning of Easter. I love their little hearts and their desire to know more about Jesus.

We celebrated by rejoicing the great day at church followed by a few Easter egg hunts. One in our neighborhood and one at Yaya and Papa's with friends and family. What a wonderful time of year! Our celebration in photos:

He Lives! Best news ever :-)
