Guess Who's Back

Happy Summer!

I know. I know. It's been a while. That about sums up life with three kids for me. We've been busy. Every day is a new adventure and a new puzzle to solve between our schedule(s). For some reason, these kids decided to start growing up and finding their own interests, sports, hobbies. They're involved.

But nonetheless, we're joyful. We've found a routine that is a little unorthodox-but that's been our way of life ever since I've been self-employed. And it works for us. Coordinated chaos, as I like to call it.

Here are some of our highlights so far this summer:

We started off with our trip to Washington DC. Briggs just loves history. Especially presidents and politics. So Ryan and I checked off a destination on his dream board: none other than our nations' capital. It was a bucket-filling experience for all three of us. And the girls got to be spoiled while we were away. We made memories to last a lifetime.

Ryan and I get to spend the occasional hour together. He's been working his tail off all summer- and we are so grateful for his hard work and providing for our family. We love you, Daddy! You're the real MVP.

Our cousins came to visit over 4th of July weekend. And it was the exact summer pick-me-up we needed. We are counting down the days until they come back to the Hoosier state!

We took a mini-trip to Cincinnati to watch our beloved White Sox play our beloved Tucker Barnhart who plays for the Reds. The game went 12 innings. We got home at 2am. But got to watch fireworks the whole drive home. #balance. Plus we got to see Uncle Lancey and Jackie while we were there.

So much time has been spent barefoot, getting popsicle mustaches, playing in sprinklers, swimming in #allthepools (p.s. Briggs is officially a swimmer!). Can summer last all year, please?

We've pretty much been living our best life this summer. Living it up for another 3.5 weeks until we've got an official first grader, pre-k kid & a preschool newbie (queue ugly cry).

And if you want to keep more up-to-date tabs on us (because #lifewiththreekids makes blog posting so random) shoot me a message- and I'll send you a link to join our private Photo Circle album. (easiest app ever & great to post when you're always on the run)

Love y'all & soak up the sunshine!

2017-2018 School Year

2017-2018 school year is officially in the books. There were a lot of firsts for us this year. And if I’m being completely honest, I should have had a #firstandlast picture up there with them with how much God stretched and matured me as their mom.

It was the first time I didn’t get to choose who my buddy spent his day with. I didn’t have complete control. In many ways he was ready for the new adventure. But in many ways, he was not. And I knew there would be growing pains. My instinct was to shelter him. But God gave me the strength and conviction to surrender. With an already anxious boy, it wasn’t easy- but we forged ahead. And man, Briggs ended up flourishing-loving his school, teacher and friends. We are so blessed to have this new school community. Such an answered prayer!

This year also marked the first time their first and last picture was not together. 😢 Which meant two different schools. Kerigan has always relied so heavily on Briggy. She really didn’t speak the first semester. We were getting concerned. But with the right support, loving teachers and friends, our little KK is letting her light shine again. Something magical has happened as she’s realizing her big sister role & navigating the new waters of being the big kid. She’s finding her own creative, silly, nurturing, strong, beautiful identity.

We are looking forward to a great summer! And I’m just going to give y’all the heads up...Kollyns starts preschool in the fall. I’m not even going to front. I’ll be a hot mess. (I’m a crier. It’s fine.) Through the tears though, I’m grateful for their growth, courage and big ole hearts. Seriously, so grateful. ❤️

Merry Christmas 2017

Merry Christmas! May you be filled with love from the good news that our Savior is born!!

Kolly's Five Months!

Kolly baby is five months old! She's as happy as ever and has changed a lot this month. The transition from four to five months was a big one for her. She seems to have gone from an infant, who sleeps all the time, can only lay down to play...to full-on curious, playful, sitting up, babbling, grabbing, giggling big girl. My chest tightens at the thought of her growing, but its such a wonderful thing to see her growing, learning and thriving.

My girl with her silly little grin.

Kolly's not risking any pinches this month ;-)

Her growth collage! I'm thinking she's looking more like Baby Briggy now more than ever.

More photos from our what was supposed to be just Kolly's five month shoot:

They can't help themselves. They love her so much.

My <3 times THREE

Kolly's life in a nutshell. Someone's always touching, squeezing, kissing or wallowing on her.

And if y'all don't know Kerigan.......this is the essence of my second born.

Spontaneous snuggles with mama. Legos and all.

Giving Kollyns some lovin'

They light up my life!

Happy Five Month, Kollyns Sophie! You brighten all our days, girlfriend.

Our February 2017

The theme of February seemed to be surrounded by the weather. There was no in between! It was either crazy cold with blizzard-like conditions orrrr sunny and 70. Then March came in like a big ole lion with thunderstorms and tornado watches. (Indiana, you're cray)

But despite our bi-polar weather...we had lots of fun!
We started out with a trip up to Chicago to see Uncle Lancey. So of course, on the way, we had to stop and see our favorite little abuelita <3

Matching jammies and our Uncle Lancey= all the heart eyes

Enjoying some pool time at the hotel (He is SO your son, Ryan Robinson)

My girl was a road trip warrior.

Riding bikes in February has us all, :-) :-) :-)

And this was literally the next day...snowball fights.

And this was like, a couple days later...WHAT.?
Kolly's enjoying her first time in the swing, though.

We'll take it

Mama and her big kids.
P.S. Kerigan wants to wear a purple tutu EVERY DAY. If you're my friend, and your girl is outgrowing any form of a purple tutu or dress, send them our way. ISO #allthepurpletutus

My first baby <3

Enjoying some park time with some of our bests.

The girls are loving life in the double stroller.

These sisters melt me.

Briggs got to bring the "class pet" home for the weekend to take on adventures. So naturally, Kerigan introduced him to her Princess Boppy Bear right off the bat.

Briggs and Duffy went on a mommy date :-)

Duffy Bear even got to see Jake and Drew get baptized!

My favorite cooks whippin' up a meal

Our girl so proud of her literature project.

And Briggs is all pumped for Western Day!

And Kolly's officially big enough for the saucer...WAHHH. Those cheeks though ;-)

Snuggle buds.

Kerigan the Cray.

Mommy and Daddy enjoying a night at Gigi's Gala! Such a great cause that we are always so honored to be a part of.

And here's our February video of our silly babes:

Happy March!!
