This weekend we spent some family time down in Brown County State Park. We were there for a wedding a couple years ago and told ourselves we want to go back when the kids (I was pregnant with Kerigan at the time) were a few years older. This summer we have really focused on being outside and enjoying God's creation. It's so hard to spend as much time as you want outside when you have an infant...and last summer, we didn't have the greatest weather on top of that.
After this weekend, I wouldn't necessarily label us as "camping people" but we do enjoy an air conditioned cabin. :) And Ryan is extremely allergic to poison ivy, so once we start hiking, its only cleared trails for us! From what I've described so far, it sounds like we are the worst outdoorsy people ever, but we make the most of it and work around having extreme allergies & little bebes.
We can't say enough about the hospitality around Nashville. It's such a quaint little town. If you've never been, you should! One of the little gems of our great Hoosier state. We took SO many photos and videos. So I've condensed as much as possible. Here are some of my favorite pics and there's a few little fun videos in here as well. The theme song for the weekend was "Homegrown" by Zac Brown Band. Briggs sang it all weekend! We are lovin' our summer in the country!
Too many pictures just to post so here's a slideshow of our favorite memories from the trip
Here's a collection of small videos we took in Brown Co. to, of course, "Homegrown"
We'll be back, Brown County!
